WHAT IS MGO?
Methylglyoxal (MGO) is the “secret ingredient” of Mānuka honey—a naturally occurring active compound that gives Mānuka superior antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. The higher the MGO, the greater potency of these properties.
